Deeper Integration A deeper initiation into the work, these sessions allow more time to slow down, listen and follow what the body is communicating. Rather than moving through what is presenting, we create space to stay with particular places, sensations or patterns that seem to be holding something, allowing the body to reveal what may be ready to be felt, understood and released. Through skilled, intentional and precise touch, together with deep somatic awareness, we listen beneath the surface and work with the body’s own intelligence. Sometimes what arises is physical; sometimes emotional, energetic, or connected to a story the body has been carrying. These sessions are an invitation to go deeper into relationship with yourself, not to force a release, but to create the conditions for the body to speak in its own time and allow what is ready to move, to move. Entering the deeper work The deeper work is generally offered after several Ankhemy Therapy sessions, allowing time to establish a relationship with the body and develop a deeper awareness of its language. For this reason, these sessions are usually undertaken after a series of at least three sessions. This is not a rule so much as an unfolding, an opportunity to first become familiar with the body’s way of communicating before listening more deeply to what may be held beneath the surface.
