NEW BODY THERAPY


We encounter stress daily—physical, mental, emotional, and chemical. While our bodies are built to adapt, ongoing stress can push us beyond our limits. One of the body’s natural responses is muscle tightening, a protective mechanism. But when stress becomes chronic, this tension doesn’t go away—it becomes locked in the body, creating a loop of pain, fatigue, and dysfunction.

Over time, this chronic holding pattern puts strain on the nervous system, leading to symptoms like stiffness, numbness, weakness, poor posture, and pain. You might first notice subtle signs: a constant ache, low energy, tension in your neck or jaw. Left unaddressed, these can develop into more serious discomforts, including migraines or joint issues—commonly in the lower back, shoulders, hips, elbows, and wrists.

New Body Therapy gently interrupts this cycle.

Through skilled, intentional and precise touch together with somatic awareness, each session works with the body’s own intelligence, helping to bring it back into right relationship with itself—physically, emotionally, and energetically.​

WHAT TO EXPECT

INITIAL CONSULTATION

We’ll begin with a conversation to explore your health history, current concerns, and what’s brought you here. I’ll also share a simple explanation of the work so you can feel comfortable and supported throughout the process.

THE TREATMENT

You’ll stay fully clothed and rest on the massage table. Using gentle reflex testing, I’ll listen to your body’s cues to locate areas of held tension. With light, intentional touch, we’ll begin to release stress, restore flow, and invite your system back into communication and balance.

FOLLOW UP

Healing is a process—not a one-off event. That’s why we begin with three sessions over two weeks. This rhythm gives your body time to integrate, recalibrate, and begin softening long-held patterns.

 

Some people feel relief quickly, while others may experience temporary sensitivity as the nervous system begins to shift. Each body has its own pace, and we’ll move in a way that honours yours.
